Book List 2014

Each year, I keep track of what books I've read through a shared Google document with a wonderful group of people. We share book recommendations and inspire each other to read more throughout the year. In 2014, I set my reading goal at 65 books - a little below my previous goals for 2011, 2012 & 2013 - but a number that I knew would be manageable throughout the year.

My top favorites of the year were definitely Eleanor and Park, Ready Player One and The Invention of Wings. Honorable mentions - not highlighted - go to we were liars and The Lowland. 
Wow - so many books this year - and the last 7 were read between Christmas and December 31st during a final push to achieve my goal of reading 65 books! And, even though it will definitely be a challenge, I've set this year's goal at 75 books. I have a huge list of books to-read on Goodreads and I'm excited to dive into new books.
