To Paint or Not to Paint... {Take Our Poll!}

Good Morning and Happy Monday! We got so much done this weekend, and I'm excited to start showing it to you tomorrow, but today, I need your help with a very important question. As Josh and I are going about decorating our apartment, we are trying to decide if we want to paint one of our rooms, or not, and we've hit a bit of a snag.

Here it is: one of us wants to paint, the other does not (I think you can probably guess who wants what, but to keep this as fair as possible, I won't name any names yet). The one of us who wants to paint thinks that it is an easy upgrade to make to an apartment that will be our home for at least the next year, while the one of us who does not want to paint thinks that painting a rental is pointless and that if the other wants to paint rooms a new color every week when we buy a house, that's fine, but that it simply does not make sense to paint a rental.
To give you the full picture of both sides of the snag, the following are the potential color options for painting the 2nd bedroom...

Please keep in mind that the issue here is not what color to paint if we choose to paint (we both like these colors), but whether or not painting a rental is worth the hassle. Also, yes, if choose to paint, in 1 year (or whenever we move), we will have to re-paint it back to the original color.

So, we are putting it to you, what do you think we should do? Paint or not paint? This is the question, and we're hoping that YOU can help us decide. Please take a moment to answer our quick poll to give us some input on this home decor decision!
Should we paint?

Thank you so much for your input! The poll will be open until 11:59 pm on Friday evening and we are very excited to see how you all vote! I'll be back tomorrow with some snapshots of what our new apartment looks like now that we're settling in!

  1. i voted other. because if you just painted an accent wall instead of a whole room, it would make the room more personalized and home-y, but then it would be less to paint back when you move.
