DIY: Table Upgrade

Good Morning and Happy March, everyone! Rabbit, rabbit! Can you believe that it is Thursday already? This has been an absolutely insane week, and more than ever, I am ready for 5 o'clock on Friday. But, before we get there, I do have an great little table project to share with you! As a huge fan of IKEA - and of their LACK table system - after I saw this LACK hack over at Little Green Notebook, I knew that it was time to upgrade mine.

All you need to create this table magic are 2 things! A piece of LACK furniture from IKEA (I used our end table in our den) ...

... and a set of brackets!

I cleaned off my table, grabbed my drill and my 5/64 drill bit, marked my holes, and got to drilling - marking the 3 holes that each bracket required on each corner.

Then, using the brackets and screws, I laid them out and then I attached each bracket to a corner.

And voila! - a quick and easy upgrade to your IKEA furniture!

I love it! And the whole project cost me about $3.00 - although if I had to buy a table, it would have been $10. Definitely a great way to upgrade your furniture without a high price tag.

I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and that if you're stuck with any of the bad weather hurling itself across the country right now, please stay safe. You know what they say about March - in like a lion, out like a lamb! Have a great day!
