Reduced Guilt Brownies {Thankful Thursday}

Today I am incredibly thankful for Trader Joe's and, more specifically, Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Chocolate Brownies.

I stumbled across these while walking the aisles of my local TJ's and couldn't pass them up! One of the best parts? All you need is the mix and some yogurt. Well, that, and a pan, some cooking spray and an oven.

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, drop the mix into a bowl.

Next, put in 1 cup of non-fat vanilla yogurt. The box says 2/3 cup, but I promise, go ahead and drop the whole cup in. Do it. It's okay.

Then, mix it all up. It will be a very thick batter, but just put some muscle into it and stir it all together.

Finally, smooth it in to your well greased 8x8 (or 9x9) pan.

Sorry about the blur!
Put this in the oven for 22 to 27 minutes. I kept them in for 25 minutes and they were the perfect consistency.

And don't forget to lick that egg-free bowl clean!

After they've cooled, cut them out of the pan and enjoy them with a large glass of milk. They're perfectly chewy and chocolatey deliciousness.

Have any of you discovered the joy of Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Brownies? If not, I highly recommend you run (not walk) to your nearest TJ's and buy yourself a package to make tonight! They are mmm mmm good!

  1. Sara,

    Thanks for stopping by as well. I appreciate your support and I definitely will check out the two cities in Spain you mentioned while planning. I know my husband has a friend in Seville as well, so that is a possibility. We recently moved from Bethany Beach, DE back to the DC/Baltimore area because of my husband's job. I"m excited to be back in a place where there is actually shopping and stores like Trader Joes and Target! Ha we didn't have much of that at the beach and I did a lot of online shopping. I hope to check out this brownie mix because it looks delicious!
