Happy (Belated) Mother's Day!

To all of the mother's out there, I want to wish you a sincere and heartfelt happy Mother's Day! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and spent it celebrating the mothers in your life.

I was fortunate enough to be raised by not one, not two, but three incredible women: my mother, my stepmother and my aunt. These three women inspired me to dream, influenced the woman that I have become, and taught me how to move through life with grace.


Without question, I would not be who I am and where I am without these women in my life. I am consistently amazed at their beauty and their grace, and am so grateful for every thing that they have taught me. Separately, and at times, together, these women have given me, and enhanced, my love of books, taught me the importance of levelheadedness and clear thinking, and shown me how a bright smile can change your (and someone else's!) day.

Thank you for being there for me each step of the way as I've grown from a young girl to a young lady to the woman I am today. I love you each so very much, and cannot entirely put into words how proud I am to have each of you in my life. Happy Mother's Day!
