Happy {Short} Weekend!

Wow, it's been more than a few days since I last posted, and you might be wondering if I fell off the face of the earth. But, you'll be happy to know that I am still here - even if I am buried under almost a foot of snow!

my car just a few hours ago!
I've been swamped at school - officially having taken over my 3rd class as of this afternoon (happy dance! yay!) and still loving every single moment of it. I am so happy to be teaching and working with these students. They are each incredible in their own ways and they are teaching me so much every single day. Today we have a snow day, and although I would rather be teaching, I'm taking this opportunity to spend the day relaxing and do a lot of planning.

On the home front, I've been trying to do a little bit of cooking, working on a couple of half-finished projects (oh, you mean you don't have partially painted pieces of plywood sitting on tables in your office too? weird...), trying to find time to read and watching Downton Abbey with Josh. Okay, let's be serious - Downton Abbey is number one on this priority list. Are you obsessed too? We've only just finished season one - so please, no spoilers!

I know it's March now, and we never did February's READ THIS!, so I'll be back this afternoon to review Paris: A Love Story, and to announce March's book! I also have plans for some fun recipes and hopefully a very belated Pinterest Challenge reveal coming up for next week.

As I get fully into the swing of things with 3 classes, I promise that more continuously regular updates will be on the way! And for those of you buried under snow, I hope you can at least take comfort in the fact that Spring is on the way - after all, its daylight savings weekend!

Enjoy your happy {short} weekend!
