Get Out and Vote! {Election 2012}

Thinking about relaxing today? Don't. Instead, get out, get to the polls, and cast your vote in the 2012 elections.

For those of you who know me well, or at the very least, follow me on Twitter, you probably already know this, but if not, I want to make it clear: I love politics and I want to make sure you vote in this election.

While our political ideologies may differ, and I don't tend to talk about politics on the blog, today, I want to urge you to go out and vote - no matter who you have decided to vote for. If you are an American citizen, it is your responsibility, your civic duty, to go out and vote. Even if you think it won't matter or if you aren't sure you'll even vote in every single race (but you care about one or two of them) - still, go vote.

Not registered to vote? In many states, you can register same day. Think you might be registered, but aren't sure? Not sure where your polling place is? Go to http://www.canivote.org and you can find out answers to all of your voting questions!

I am asking you, in all seriousness, to please take the time to vote today. This is a monumentally important election and I hope that each of you will take the time to get out to the polls and vote. Do it for yourself, do it for your family, do it for America. But most importantly, just do it.

And of course, have a very happy Tuesday!
