Recipe: Summer Squash and Zucchini

I am always on the lookout for an easy summer side and the other day, I picked up some pre-sliced Summer squash and zucchini to create something delicious.



First, I grabbed my pre-sliced veggies and some salt, pepper and olive oil.



I placed tin foil down across a cookie sheet and spread the sliced vegetables across it. Then, I sprinkled salt across the top.



Then I sprinkled pepper and drizzled olive oil across the top as well.



I baked them in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes (along with chicken and corn to complete the meal!). 



After it was done baking, I let it sit for a few minutes before serving alongside the Italian Seasoned Corn on the Cob and my pre-marinated chicken!
