Project Life: Weeks One to Five

It's only been a few weeks, but I am absolutely loving project life. It really is the perfect way to scrapbook without having to worry about so much of the technical issues of scrapbooking. And, one of the best parts is that each week I can put as little or as much into as I want to - really proving that this project is exactly what I make of it. Right now, I'm about 2 weeks behind - and hoping to catch up on those weeks by this weekend! Life has been a little busy, but in a really fantastic way - giving me lots to put into the album, but not as much time to do it as I might like!

I do hope that I'll catch up to be able to give you an update every 2 weeks or so, but in the meantime - here's some of what I've put together so far!

I used the cards that came along with the kit to make the cover, but as the year goes on, I plan to add my favorite photos to make the album cover page a bit more exciting. Many people do Project Life as a yearly, January through December project, but this year, I've decided to capture my 27th year - and all of the adventures that it holds in store for me.

I started out a bit cautiously, but you'll see that I've gotten a bit more creative and more comfortable with the project as I've started moving through the weeks.

I've swirled out some of the more personal information - some projects and other things in the works that I'm not quite ready to share yet - but otherwise, this is my 27th year so far! There have already been so many highlights, and it hasn't even been 2 months yet! One of my favorite moments has definitely been meeting my best friend Kallie and Ryan's beautiful daughter - she is such a gem and I cannot wait to watch her grow up as her parents raise her into a beautiful young woman.

I really do love this project and I love learning more and getting more creative with it over time. I also promise to get better about taking pictures of the project! Hope you're all having a great Tuesday - and for those of you in the Northeast, I hope you're keeping warm in the snowstorm!

    1. It is so much fun! It's easy to do and I'm pretty much taking pictures all of the time anyway, so it's just about putting them into the album. And then I have the room to choose how much extra effort I want to put into it each week!

  2. I LOVE my project life album. I am doing mine from Jan-Dec, because it pretty uch documents me, Mr. O and Wolverine's lives. I think I will start sharing it on the blog in 2013 (I can't wait to start fresh with a new album!) but it's just tough because I try to keep pictures of Wolverine off of the blog. We shall see how it goes. I love yours!
