Workout Wear {Spring Edition}

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week and that you're well-rested after this holiday weekend! As the weather starts to get warmer outside, I'm starting to get back into an exercise routine. I have found that one of the best ways to do this, is to step up my workout wardrobe. It gets me excited to get into the gym and the bright colors of the Spring workout gear tends to brighten my spirits as I'm pushing myself at the gym.

Please check out City Sports for your sizes in all of the items above!
How great are these colors? I'm loving the deep mint green that is so popular right now and I've been eyeing the Vibram FiveFingers KomodoSport LS shoes for awhile now. Have any of you tried them? I've heard wonderful things about them, but I still haven't actually taken the time to go get a pair of my own! If you have them, or know anyone who does, I'd love for you to share your thoughts!

And of course, no post about workout inspiration would be complete without a little workout information too. Here is my favorite treadmill workout:

This is Jillian Michael's Treadmill Walk & Jog from Self Magazine and is one of my all-time favorite workouts. It lasts for 45 minutes and as you gain more strength, you can increase your speed and incline to suit your ability.

Do you have a favorite workout this time of year? Leave me a comment if you do - I'd love to hear about it!

  1. I usually take classes like Zumba and Box & Burn, but in the spring/summer, I just can't justify sweating it out indoors when I can be outside. So I'm pretty much obsessed with anything outdoors: tennis lessons, walking, hiking, jogging, ANYTHING.

    Must. be. outside.

    I do LOVE being outdoors, but I also hate the rain and the cold haha - and I like the structure and stability that the treadmill provides. Our apartment complex has a tennis court though - so hopefully we'll get some use out of it this summer!
